Industrial: Clay
Reactants
Clay-polymer reactants for wastewater
treatment is widely used in various industries including
plating, aerospace, ink, and machining industries, for removal
of oils and heavy metals. As non-hazardous blends of bentonite
clay, minerals and other proprietary resources in dry powder
and granular form, they are capable of performing a wide
range of treatment functions, providing an alternative to
conventional treatment methods.
Wastewaters generally contain a mixture of solids (both suspended
and colloidal), dissolved metals and organic compounds. There
are many options available to remove these contaminants,
most involving multiple steps and a considerable amount of
time for the process, while our broad line of clay-polymer
reactants can complete the treatment process within minutes
with minimal operator intervention. The floc produced will
withstand much more disturbance and will settle more quickly
than conventional methods.
