In addition to using ion exchange technology to treat rinsewaters, Kinetico has engineered systems to purify both tri-valent and hexa-valent chrome plating baths. The Pure Chrome VI and Tri-Chrome ion exchange purification systems are designed to remove cationic impurities such as trivalent chromium (with the Pure Chrome VI system only), nickel, copper, iron, zinc, trivalent chrome, and aluminum from chromium processing baths. They eliminate costly bath dumps and lower operating costs while improving bath performance by providing stable bath chemistry and improving product quality through increased throwing power and plating speed and reduced tank voltages.
